How soon can I get started?
We can start as quickly as you’re ready!
How does financing work?
Buffum Homes has a no-hassle financing option available so that you don’t have to mess with getting a construction loan… The only thing you have to think about is the mortgage at the end of construction, and we have lenders we recommend for the most competitive rates who really understand every individual’s situation.
Do we have to find a lot first?
We will always have lots in inventory, but if you know a specific location you’d like to be but haven’t found the perfect lot to build on yet, we can help you find the perfect lot prior to constructing your home!
Will you build on my own lot?
The short answer? Of course! We build on customers’ vacant land all the time.
How long does it take to build a home?
It typically takes 6-9 months depending on the project
How do I make my selections?
We have a system in place that removes the stress. We have everything set up so that all you have to do is follow the guidelines that will help you walk through the selections process. Our project managers will also be there to help during the entire duration of construction.
What if we have a house to sell?
This is a question we get often, and it’s not a problem. We have a real estate license as well and can help you sell your home at a discounted rate, so you can keep more money when you sell!
Do I have to use Buffum’s recommended lenders?
No, you’re more than welcome to use your own lender, but we highly recommend checking with our preferred lenders, as they understand the process the best and offer extremely competitive rates.
